Meet Katie, a seasoned yoga luminary with over two decades of dedication to the art and science of yoga. Her journey into the yogic life began beautifully 20 years ago, flourished during her transformative stay at an Ashram in Glastonbury, and expanded as she traveled the globe, deepening her practice and pedagogy in the spiritual landscapes of India. Her time in India includes completing two extensive Yoga Teacher Training courses, marking a pivotal point in her career.

Katie’s credentials are impressive, having mastered three different yoga teacher training programs. She has also had the privilege of training under some of the most revered names in the yoga community, including Shiva Rea, Kino McGregor, and Jo Phee. These experiences not only honed her skills but also enriched her personal practice and teaching philosophy.

Before her yoga journey, Katie had already embraced a path of holistic wellness, practicing as a Beauty and Holistic Therapist for over 25 years. Her extensive background includes expertise in aromatherapy, reiki, reflexology, and Ayurvedic treatments, integrating a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on nourishing the body, mind, and spirit.

Katie’s teaching style is a dynamic fusion of her holistic beliefs and her deep yogic knowledge. She offers an invigorating yoga flow, beautifully synchronized with the lunar cycles and seasons, incorporating elements such as mudras, pranayama, asanas, meditation, and philosophy to craft a balanced practice that nurtures strength and flexibility. Additionally, Katie specializes in a restorative Yin Yoga that emphasizes meridian lines and elemental connections, offering a deeply soothing experience.

Beyond the mat, Katie extends her holistic services with deep tissue massages and reflexology sessions available every Tuesday at The Yoga Club. Through her comprehensive approach, Katie notifies her commitment to a life lived in deep connection with oneself and the world around us.
